The scope of work encompasses the New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s Major Bridge Inspection Program which involves biennial inspection of 25 major bridges on the New Jersey Turnpike and 12 major bridges on the Garden State Parkway. Since the previous cycle inspection assignments, these 37 bridges have been reallocated in Major Bridge Groups 1, 2, and 3. The 12 structures comprising Major Bridge Group 1 are largely located in the central/southern region of both the Turnpike and Parkway roadways, and the 11 structures comprising Major Bridge Group 2 are located in the central/northern region of both the Turnpike and Parkway roadways, and the 14 structures comprising Major Group 3 are largely located in the northern region of the Turnpike. This Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) is for Major Bridge Groups 1, 2, and 3.
