Description

The Newark Housing Authority (NHA) is seeking qualified firms to provide structural
concrete balcony replacement services to the 8th floor unit (Unit W) and 9th floor unit (Unit
W) at James C. White Manor. The work must be performed in accordance with all applicable
federal, state, and local regulations and must follow engineered design specifications.
This project is federally funded and therefore subject to HUD regulations, Davis-Bacon and
Related Acts, Section 3 requirements, and local building codes. NHA will include a full set
of project-specific drawings and technical specifications with the RFP, including Drawing
1/S-1, which details reinforcing bar layout, embedment depths, and structural connection
methods.
