Summary of Specifications:
The Morris County Insurance Fund (MCIF) is soliciting proposals from Insurance Consultants, to provide consulting services on a monthly and an as needed basis, at the rate of $120.00 per hour, during calendar year 2013. The term will be one year, January 1st, through December 31, 2013. The MCIF serves the County of Morris in all insurance and litigation matters. The County of Morris is self-insured with a self-insured retention of $500,000. Above this level, the County maintains excess insurance policies. The MCIF is administered by Commissioners appointed by the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders. The MCIF meetings are held twice monthly and are attended by the Commissioners, the Insurance Consultant, a Third-Party Claims Administrator (TPA) and the Morris County Risk Manager.
