Summary of Specifications:
The County of Morris is seeking proposals from Site Remediation Professionals, licensed in the State of New Jersey, to provide professional remediation services for a Preliminary Assessment to evaluate the status of NJDEP PI#G000040136, to conduct an updated Receptor Evaluation, and to develop a remedial investigation work plan and a schedule for bringing Morris County’s coal gas site, located at the Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital on Old Dover Road, Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, into compliance with NJDEP statuary and regulatory guidelines. 1. Scope of Services & Tasks Provide Licensed Site Remediation Professional services and conduct a Preliminary Assessment at the Greystone Psychiatric Park Hospital coal gas house site. A Preliminary Assessment is necessary to evaluate current site conditions, research all historic activities on the site, and to develop a remedial investigation work plan and a schedule to advance the project toward closure. Provide technical support and evaluate the sensitive receptors within and adjacent to the site. In addition, the Consultant’s proposal should include the services to conduct an updated Receptor Evaluation. The evaluations and work plan shall provide Morris County with a full understanding of the status and the environmental impacts at the GPPH coal gas house site. The Consultant shall provide Morris County with a time schedule for the various tasks mentioned below, and an engineer’s time and cost estimate for necessary remediation work.
