Summary of Specifications:
The County of Morris is soliciting proposals from Professional Engineering Consultants, licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey, to perform an energy audit for the Morris View Healthcare Facility. The Morris View Healthcare Facility comprises 273,900 square feet and was originally constructed in 1973. It serves the needs of the Morris County senior population through providing 24 hour care, 7 days a week with its Division of Long Term Care and daily with its Adult Day Care Center. Throughout its various expansions the building has never undergone an energy audit to assess areas for improvement.
The selected consultant shall perform an energy audit of the above facility. This audit shall assess current energy usage and costs, identify, recommend and analyze energy efficiency measures as well as possible renewable energy systems. The energy audit shall also include a complete inventory of meters and billing points for all sources of energy. The overall goal of the energy audit is to identify opportunities for reducing energy costs.
Upon completion of the audit the consultant shall attend a meeting within five (5) business days with a completed report to discuss all pertinent items relative to the subject audit.
Since funds for this project are supplied through the Federal Government Energy Efficiency Block Grant (EECBG) program the successful consultant is required to obtain, or already have, a Dun and Bradstreet Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS number) obtained at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System at www.ccr.gov/.
