Summary of Specifications:
Morris County is requesting Proposals from Professional Engineering Consultants, licensed in the State of New Jersey, to provide construction inspection and management oversight services (Clerk of the Works) prior to, during, and after structural repairs to the Morris County Ann Street Parking Garage located at Ann Street, between Court Street and Chestnut Street, Morristown, New Jersey.
The project includes repairs to deteriorated reinforced concrete slabs, beams, columns, walls; repairs to brick masonry, historic stone masonry wall repairs; repairs to guide rails and drainage system, new deck waterproofing membrane, and new parking stall striping. Provisioning and installing a new underground conduit between the garage electrical panel and the basement of the Courthouse is part of this project.
The Contract Term shall be for twelve (12) months or until project completion, commencing with the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Clerk of the Works services are anticipated to be required one (1) month prior to start of construction, and two (2) months after project completion (approximately 40 weeks). The Construction Inspector will be required to attend the Pre-Construction Meeting and Final Inspection. The Construction Inspector will be required to inspect just this one (1) project.
