APPLICATIONS FOR 2024 AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN AREA PLAN CONTRACT FUNDING

Separate sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris on August 1, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard prevailing time in the Office of Purchasing, Room 517, 5th Floor, Administration & Records Building, Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey for the respective project as follows:
AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN AREA PLAN - Grant Request for Proposals (RFP’s), pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11-4 et seq. for county residents age 60 and over and/or adult family caregivers of individuals age 60 and over and/or adult family caregivers of elderly individuals at any age due to Alzheimer disease or related disorders from January 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024 with an option to extend or renew for an additional four (4) months and subject to the availability of funds and to the continuing satisfactory performance by the provider of service.
Funds are available for the following services:
Access Services
(Transportation, Assisted Transportation, Assistive Technology)
Home Support Services
(Housekeeping/Shopper Program, Housing Assistance)
Community Support Services
(Oral Health, Physical Activity, Money Management, Socialization and Recreation, Legal Assistance)
Respite
(Trained Volunteer Assistance/Companion Care)
Proposals are available for downloading from http://www.morriscountynj.gov/hs/, or may be picked up on or after July 10, 2023 the Morris County Purchasing Division at the address below during regular business hours.
RFP’s must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the RFP number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris.
Proposals shall be delivered either in person, by delivery or mail at the hour designated, or previous thereto, to:

No proposals shall be accepted after the designated time, and Morris County will not assume responsibility for proposals forwarded by mail or delivery service, nor any other conveyance.
Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
Proposal requests herein are solicited through a fair and open process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.
In accordance with past guidance regarding Covid-19, the County of Morris requests that the public maintain social distancing. Accordingly, we ask that Bidders/Respondents may wish to consider not attending the Bid Openings in person. We do note that if Bidders/Respondents choose to attend, they are required to be screened by Courthouse security. If they show any signs of illness, they will not be permitted access to the building.
A bid review and provision of unit prices will be posted online once available.
Bidders/Respondents are encouraged to MAIL in bids and responses. If they must be hand delivered, the County of Morris has a drop box located outside of the Purchasing Office, 5th floor of the Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey.

TABULATION SHEET: Available on Bidnet within 1 week AFTER close of bid. Award of contract by the Board of County Commissioners will be made within 60 days.
