It is the intent of the City of Cape May reconstruct bell tower, entrance stairs and ADA ramp and interior work including: bathrooms, electrical, mechanical and finishes.The AME Church is a key contributing structure in the Historic District in Cape May City and the intent of this work shall be in accordance with U.S. Department of Interior standards for treatment of historic properties with guidelines for preserving, rehabilitating, restoring and reconstructing historic buildings, revised 2017.
