Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will be responsible for all sampling and water quality testing for regulatory requirements for both the treatment plant and distribution system (currently NH Grade 3 for both). The contractor is responsible for all regulatory reporting inclusive of Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR), water conservation events, copper and lead, Sourcewater and Wellhead Protection and any other monitoring that may be requested of the water system. The contractor will ensure compliance with all regulatory testing, including annual calibration of production and consumption metering equipment (approx. 200 meters at campus locations). The contractor shall be responsible for all aspects of management, operations and maintenance of water treatment process equipment. The contractor will provide all staffing, materials, chemicals, residuals management and subcontracted services to match treatment best practices. The contractor will support annual assistance with Town of Durham staff for valve exercising and flushing activities in the system. The contractor will assist in performing regular inspection and testing of lab pure water systems, ocean engineering tanks, filters and softeners as well as remote well protection activities at 8-10 locations.
