Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Concord, New Hampshire owns, operates, and maintains the Hall Street WWTF. As part of their process, the City uses a scum separator to separate scum from flushing water for disposal off-site. The scum is collected from the surface of the facility primary clarifiers where it is stored in a scum well before being intermittently pumped to the scum separator. The scum separator removes excess water and discharges the scum to a cart for disposal. The existing scum separator has outlived its useful life. The City is seeking quotations for replacement of their scum separation equipment with a new, chain and flight style scum skimming separation unit at the WWTF.
