Specifications include, but are not limited to: A list of building locations and estimated inventory of each location is attached time and effort expended in the bid preparation is entirely the responsibility of the bidder. The act of submitting a bid is to be considered full acknowledgement that the vendor has inspected the sites and is familiar with conditions. Bidders shall have a sufficient number of skilled technicians to perform requested services in a timely fashion. Inspections are performed annually. Some buildings, such as the police department may need bi-annual inspections due to accreditation. Inspections include but are not limited to: • Manual fire alarms • Automatic fire alarms • Elevator recall-smoke tests in conjunction with elevator maintenance contractor • Sprinkler testing (wet, dry and antifreeze loops) • Smoke detectors • Heat/smoke/duct detectors and any other initiating devices • Horn/strobe/speakers • Hood/suppression inspections only, biannually, including fusible link and micro switch costs. • Fire extinguishers inspections, including parts, ei seals /tags etc • Smoke evacuation systems (Stage @ Dover High School) • (5) overhead Fire doors roll up doors at the Middle School • Carbon monoxide / Nitrogen units • Three-year dry trip test Inspections must be completed in a timely fashion prior to the expiration of current inspections. All inspection reports must be furnished to the Purchasing Agent within two weeks of completion of the inspection. School inspections are to be completed within the months of July – August.
