Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Review of the Concord Public Library 2007 Needs Assessment 2. Spatial evaluation to meet 21st century Library needs 3. Geotechnical analysis of existing Green Street site (soils / groundwater issues) 4. Conceptual design options (i.e. basic floor plans and site plans); including, but not limited to the following scenarios a. Ability to expand existing building vertically (i.e. over 1939 and / or 1960s wing). b. No vertical expansion, construct new addition on the south and west sides of building. (Note, this concept was already well developed in the 2007 J. Stewart Robert Study, with cost estimates). c. New addition on the south and west sides; encroach into Prince Street R-O-W. d. Vertical expansion of 1939 building with infill of interior light well, demolish 1968 addition and construct new addition to south and west of existing 1939 structure. No encroachment into Prince Street R-O-W. 5. Preliminary cost estimates for the above scenarios.
