Specifications include, but are not limited to: The engineering services required for this project shall be completed in general accordance with ascope of services as needed to accomplish the major tasks and sub-tasks listed below. The final scopeof services will be negotiated with the selected engineering firm.Scope of services may include, but is not limited to:a.Development of Service Line Material (SLM) Inventory 12i.Develop and implement a service line material database of both public andprivate side laterals or demonstrate the absence of lead service lines (LSL).ii.Provide a cost-effective solution to expedite populating and updating the serviceline inventory and identifying area that potentially have LSL’s using MWW’s staff,scanned service records, as-builds, GIS data, building code information, fieldinvestigations, etc.iii.Provide recommendations and training to MWW staff for the on-going managementof the SLM database.iv.Confirm with the New Hampshire Dept. of Environmental Services (NHDES)what will be acceptable “verification” of service line materials.v.Develop GIS layers showing the SLM inventory results for making available to thepublic on MWW’s website.b.Development of an LSL Replacement Plani.Assist MWW with the development and implementation of a LSL replacementprogram.c.Development of Sampling Plani.Assist with the development of the lead and copper sampling monitoring program.ii.Make recommendations to mimic the requirements of the Revised Lead andCopper Rule taking effect in October, 2024.d.Public Education and Outreach Assistancei.Develop messaging, content, graphic designs, and overall strategy for theMWW-driven public ed and outreach assistance program.e.Funding Assistancei.Identify funding sources to assist with implementation of the various requirement ofthe LCRR and assist by applying for such funding through loan and/or grantapplications, as directed.ii.Identify funding sources to assist private property owners with replacement oftheir service lines and assist by applying for such funding through loan and/orgrant applications, as directed
