Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project is intended to update the database to a completely new version of the database with a cleanfront end in Microsoft Access 2007 and a new backend on Microsoft SQLServer and to make updates tothe database to better conform to the business practices of the North Dakota UST program. The currentdatabase was developed to accommodate the business needs of multiple states and contains featuresthat are not used by the North Dakota UST program. All the currently used program logic that is basedon current business practices and business rules that apply to the ND UST program are to be included inthe updated version of the database. In other words, the functionality that is in the current database thatworks and is used would be retained. Additional features and functionality are to be added based on theNorth Dakota UST program business processes.
