Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope # 1 Clear all driveways and parking areas of snow and ice and when necessary sand by 6:00 AM Monday through Saturday. Shoveling of all walkways and emergency exits on the Claremont Campus. Salt to sand ratio must be at least a mix of 10% salt to sand for both paved and non-paved areas. Snow banks will be moved and taken to an onsite snow dumping area. Snowplowing will commence when snow accumulates to 1” of snow. After storms completion there must be a total cleanup for classes by 6 am the following morning. Work shall be done with a minimum amount of disruption to the college activities. Spring cleanup will be completed by April 15, which will include a thorough sweep of and removal of all sand / salt remnants in parking lot, roadways, the delivery of 15 yards of clean, brown mulch to the college’s holding area. Four (4) equal invoices should be submitted each year of the contract by: December 1, January 1, February 1, with the last invoice being submitted upon completion of the spring cleanup, which includes the delivery of the mulch. There will be a mandatory walk through. River Valley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bid proposals RVCC has the right to terminate contact with a 30-day written notice. The Contract starts on or about November 1, 2018 and runs through October 30, 2020 Remove and legally dispose of all waste generated by the work Remove all unused material brought on site by the bidder.
