Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Snow plowing of Town roads and parking lots, and for the removal of snow on an as-needed basis. Services shall be provided at the Town’s request only. The award of the Bid shall in no way guarantee that any amount of work be provided by the Town to the Contractor(s) selected through the award process. 2. The DPW Highway Foreman or designee shall contact the Contractor(s) to inform them whenever their services are needed. The Contractor(s) shall be expected to have their personnel, vehicles and equipment deployed in Hampton in 60 minutes or less from the time of contact. Inadequate response time shall be grounds for termination of the contract. 3. Any and all equipment contracted for shall be dedicated to the Town for snow plowing and removal operations for the duration of the contract and must either be staged at the DPW compound or other location(s) approved by the DPW Highway Foreman or designee. 4. The quality of workmanship will be to the acceptance and satisfaction of the DPW Highway Foreman or designee, who will supervise all work hereunder. 5. The Town will identify to the Contractor(s) the routes and parking lots for the services of snow plowing and snow removal. Routes to be assigned upon award of Bid. 6. The Contractor(s) shall employ all measures and procedures of safety and traffic control applicable by local, state, and/or federal laws during the performance of the work. 7. Before any snow plowing and removal, the Contractor(s) shall familiarize themselves with the location of all in-ground obstructions to eliminate potential for damage. Any damage caused by Contractor’s operations shall be repaired immediately at the Contractor’s expense. 8. The following equipment and operators are requested as part of this bid: A. Grader w/Operator (Not always scheduled) Front Highway Plow with Wing Configuration Minimum 12-foot moldboard B. Three (3) Loaders w/Operators Minimum three (3) CY Bucket (for loading tri-axle dump trucks during hauling operations) and/or Minimum one (1) 12-foot Snow Push Box and/or Minimum one (1) 11-foot Power Angle Plow and/or Minimum one (1) 11-foot Power Angle Plow with minimum 9-foot wing C. 6-Wheel Truck w/Operator With minimum 11-foot Power Angle Plow With minimum 9-foot Wing With Spreader 33,000 GVW D. Tri-axle/Ten-Wheeler Dump Trucks w/Operators (For snow hauling operations when needed) Minimum of two (2) trucks requested E. Pick-Up Truck w/Operator Minimum ¾ Ton Truck; with minimum 9-foot Plow
