The selected Vendor(s) must provide Short-Term Housing (STH) to serve individuals who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis that will serve as an alternative to hospitalization and/or institutionalization as well as for providing brief interventions in a community-based environment structured to maximize stabilization and crisis reduction while maximizing retention in care. 2.1.2. The selected Vendor(s) must ensure all STH: 2.1.2.1. Are identified and operational within 30 calendar days following the Contract Effective Date. 2.1.2.2. Receives referrals from CMHCs and Doorways. 2.1.2.3. Aligns with SAMHSA’s “The National Guidelines for Behavioral Health Crisis Care – A Best Practice Toolkit” and serves as a nowrong-door access to mental health, substance use and co-occurring services for individuals across their lifespan. 2.1.2.4. Complies with all applicable state licensing/certification standards. 2.1.2.5. Maintains certification under New Hampshire Administrative Rule HeM 1002, Housing, Certification Standards for Behavioral Health Community Residences, and includes: 2.1.2.5.1. At least one (1) bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a bathtub or shower; 2.1.2.5.2. Specific sleeping area designated for each individual; 2.1.2.5.3. Common areas that must not be used as bedrooms; 2.1.2.5.4. Storage space for each individual's clothing and personal possessions; 2.1.2.5.5. Accommodations for the nutritional needs of the individual; and 2.1.2.5.6. At least one (1) telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.
