Specifications include, but are not limited to: NEW, SNOWPLOW AND MATERIAL SPREADER TRAILER MOUNTED RIGHT HAND AS PER THE D.O.T. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS DATED OCTOBER 28, 2013. The unit shall be of all steel construction and be hydraulically operated utilizing the central hydraulic system of the host truck. The unit shall be capable of being articulated in such a manner to add lane clearing capability to the adjacent of the towing unit. When used in conjunction with the host truck's front plow, this combination will increase the total clearing path to as much as 25-feet. The trailer section of the unit shall be constructed of C15 x 50 steel channel. The trailer shall be cross-braced and gusseted to provide the needed structural integrity for continual use over multiple winter events. The trailer shall be a two axle configuration. The trailer shall articulate hydraulically to the right through the use of two rephrasing cyli nders. The trailer shall be primed and painted orange with lead free paint (see additional paint specifications). The trailer shall be equipped with landing gear for storage while disengaged. Articulating tongue of trailer shall provide a mechanical lock for transporting that will store on the trailer when not in use. A Holland PH410RM11 pintle hook shall be provided as part of this bid
