• Site Preparations: • Mobilization • Jersey Barriers provided up top and down below for resident safety. • Onsite Sanitary house. • Transfer Station needs to be open during Construction. • Erosion Control-Silt fence/ silt sock • Dust control provided by the Town of Hollis • SWPPP/ EPA MSGP NOI Plan -Reporting- Monitoring by Town of Hollis • Demolition and Removal: • Concrete demolition of concrete pads • Asphalt Saw cutting • Asphalt removal • Wood Pole retaining walls • Provide Electrician to disconnect all compactors for relocation and any other electrical work as needed. • Move all pedestals, compactors, chutes and roofs of existing structures to temporary locations on site. • Proper disposal of all demolition debris per local and state regulations. • New Retaining Wall Construction: • Construct a new retaining wall using Universal U wall smooth face by CSI. • Earth work/Burden spoils shall not be removed from site. All fills to remain on site. • Include proper backfill, drainage piping, and geogrid reinforcement as needed. • Conduit for Electrical and UGE video feed. Work with Eversource on possible transformer vs pole upgrade. • Structural concrete pads form and pour for all four compactors. • Aggregate Materials, sub base gravel, Base gravel, Fine Grade, Pad gravel, Fine grade pad gravel, Rip Rap. • Install Drainage system to fit the specs for the new wall system. • Set all pedestals, compactors back in place and provide new chutes and roofing over the trash trailer chute opening. • Electrician to hook all electrical components back up to trash compactors and lighting. • Finish and restore adjacent disturbed areas to their original or better condition including screened loam, seed, Binder 2026, Finish pavement, install pre-cast Bollards, Directional traffic signs, pavement markings, concrete curb stops, Steel guard rail. • Existing gravel drive to be realigned. Compliance: • Adhere to all local, state, and federal building codes and safety standards. • Ensure worksite safety and minimal disruption to transfer station operations. • Clarify testing and Inspection requirements (compaction, concrete, etc.) Define closeout deliverables (as-builts, maintenance manuals etc.)
