The City of Manchester is launching the Urban Forestry Planning and Implementation Project to promote the planting of new trees in the City's right-of-way. This contract marks the first year of a multi-year initiative aimed at establishing a qualified contractor for ongoing tree planting services. There is no set number of trees required to be planted under this contract and could be as many as one hundred (100) per planting season. The City makes no guarantees regarding a minimum quantity of trees or the level of work to be performed under this contract. Planting will continue until all approved requests are fulfilled or until available funds are exhausted. Tree purchases and plantings will be based on requests from individual property owners, with the frequency, location, and timing of plantings determined by resident interest and the approval of these requests. The contractor will be responsible for supplying and installing the approved tree species in locations designated by the City.
