Inspect all drive wheels, bearings, jack shafts, line shafts, idler wheels, and related fittings. b. Inspect all cross-bridge rail clips, splices, and end stops. c. Inspect all functional operating mechanisms for excessive wear of components. d. Open and inspect all electric brake assemblies. e. Inspect hooks for deformation and throat openings. f. Inspect hoist cables including all related fittings. g. Inspect rope reeving for non-compliance with manufacturer's recommendations. h. Inspect for cracked or worn sleeves, drums, idlers, pins, bearings, gears, shafts, keyways, and wheels. i. Test all motions electrically including limit switches, contacts, push buttons, pendants, and contactors. 5.5 Item V: Trolley a. Visually inspect all gearboxes and their components. b. Open and inspect all electric brake assemblies. c. Inspect hooks for deformation and throat openings. d. Inspect hoist cables including all related fittings. e.
