The Concord School District is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to develop and manage a one-year communications project with two distinct audiences: 1) Educators: Promote an understanding among educators about the diverse experiences of youth and families that impact school engagement and mental health and wellness with the goal to build capacity among educators for meeting student and family needs. 2) Families: Promote an understanding among diverse families about how to engage in services provided by the district to promote academic and social-emotional success with the goal being to foster readiness for learning. The anticipated project budget range is $48,000.00-$55,000.00, inclusive of all work outlined below. Proposals exceeding this range may be considered if justified by quality, scale, or additional services. All materials will need to meet federal accessibility guidelines. 1) Create materials across a variety of media, including video and print: Up to 10 MP4 and web-ready videos, 2-5 minutes in length, on topics such as: a. Target Audience: Educators i. Understanding behavior from a mental health lens ii. Understanding the effect of homelessness and economic insecurity and the effect on students iii. Understanding the diverse lived experiences of our families and how to support them. b. Target Audience: Families and Students i. Understanding behavior from a mental health lens ii. The importance of protective factors iii. Getting help to support the mental health and wellness of your child in school iv. What does discipline look like in schools? v. How can you partner with school to help your child? Downloadable print materials to direct access to videos and that deliver help-seeking and mental health promotion messaging for prevention. 2) Work with the district’s project advisory team to define and implement the campaign.
