24.1. In responding to the bid invitation, the prospective Vendor shall address all requirements for information as outlined herein. 24.2. Wing Tower 24.2.1. Hoist equipment shall be a wing post permanently attached to the right side of the loader’s front articulating frame and hydraulically controlled. 24.2.2. Valve controls shall be mounted in the cab and directly connected by a mechanical link. 24.2.3. Valve shall be mounted within the front of the machine ahead of the articulation point, resulting in protection from the elements as well as impact. 24.2.4. Valve and controls shall include four (4) double acting functions three (3) to operate the wing functions and one (1) to operate the reversing of the front plow. 24.2.5. The arrangement of the controls in the cab shall be as follows from left to right PLOW REVERSE, WING SLIDE, WING TOE and WING HEEL. 24.2.6. The hydraulic lines for operating the front reversing plow and wing post shall be brought to the front of the machine and secured on the main boom loader arms cross brace by means of a plate and set up with quick couplers on the right hand side for ease of detaching the hydraulic lines for the front plow and front wing post from the machine when not in use. 24.2.7. Hydraulic lines used shall be high pressure hoses and be able to withstand the operating pressure of the machine of 3,000 psi. 24.2.8. Quick couplers on the machine shall be Aeroquip 5601-8-10S (female) and Aeroquip 5602-8-10S (male) no exceptions to match the existing fittings already on the front plow reversing cylinders lines and the front wing post cylinder lines. 24.2.9. Quick couplers shall be arranged in the following configuration left to right on the loader; female quick coupler plow angle left, male quick coupler plow angle right, female quick coupler front wing plow cylinder tow up and male quick coupler front wing plow cylinder down. 24.2.10.Hydraulic lines for operating the wing heel shall be attached to the loader frame and secured terminating at the tower location on the machine. 24.2.11.Tower to have cylinders (Arcor Nitrided), operating the rear wing heel and slide attached (not to be remote from the tower) brackets, connecting hose and all other items required to make a complete wing mount ready for operation when completed. 24.2.12.The ½” hydraulic line that controls the wing heel going down shall have an adjustable flow control installed in line at a location near the tower that is easily accessible to reach to make an adjustment if necessary. 24.2.13.Shelving height shall be capable of reaching a minimum of 55” inches. 24.2.14.All wing equipment shall be mounted in a manner which will permit access to all grease fittings. 24.3. Paint 24.3.1. Wing tower and components attached to the loader shall be painted to match the loaders factory color. 24.3.2. NO LEAD PAINT SHALL BE USED 24.4. Manuals 24.4.1. Two complete sets of parts manuals shall be provided showing all components provided with their part numbers. 24.5. Vendors shall provide material safety data sheets with the delivery of any and all products covered by RSA 277-A, the “Worker’s Right to Know Act.” 24.6.
