Specifications include, but are not limited to: (a) Occupied Parking Lot Standards: When a parking lot is occupied the contractor shall do the best possible job by clearing, treating and de-icing the travel lanes, to the satisfaction of the City. All locations must be attended to by 6:00 AM Monday through Friday; 8:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. (b) Unoccupied Parking Lot Standards: SEE ATTACHED WINTER PARKING BAN. When a parking lot is unoccupied the contractor shall clear, treat and de-ice travel lanes, parking areas, sidewalk and walkways to the satisfaction of the City. All locations must be attended to by 6:00 AM Monday through Friday; 8:00 AM Saturday and Sunday. The following plowing conditions shall apply to this proposal: • 0” – 1” snow: SALT if necessary • 0” - 3” snow = 1 plowing EVENT (plow/salt lanes during business hours, push back open spaces) • >3” - 6” snow = 2 plowing EVENTS (plow/salt lanes during business hours, push back open spaces) • >6” - 12” snow = 3 plowing EVENTS (plow/salt lanes during business hours, push back open spaces) • >12” snow = 4 plowing EVENTS (plow/salt lanes during business hours, push back open spaces) Contractor must provide a means acceptable to the City, of receiving notification of services needed 24 hours/day and 7 days/week including all holidays. No answering machine or answering service will be used; no third party contacts. City contact person must speak to contractor or his/her contact person. Cost to perform all services considered subsidiary to price bid for Parking lot full and Parking lot empty. No additional compensation will be provided to perform this service as directed.
