Vendor shall provide all equipment and service to complete full On-Site removal of an old heat exchanger and installation of a new state-supplied unit. 1.1. The heat exchanger at Northern NH Correctional Facility (NNHCF) is an existing steam heat exchanger. The existing unit shall require a Vendor who is equipped to remove the old heat exchanger from Building B mechanical room and install a state-supplied Taco Enhanced Surface U Tube Heat Exchanger, E8214S-5/3T Cast Iron Head. The new unit will provide heat to a hydronic system to reheat coils, which then move into the HVAC system. Water is heated up through steam to deliver the heat to the coils. The air from the Air Handler Unit (AHU) transfers and disperses the heat to designated areas. 1.1.1. Vendor shall transport the Taco Enhanced Surface U Tube Heat Exchanger, E8214S-5/3T Cast Iron Head up a stairwell and into place. 1.1.2. Vendor shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of the old heat exchanger. 1.1.3. Rigging tools, chain falls and welding tools are required to perform the services and shall be provided by the Vendor.
