Proposed systems must be designed: in accordance with industry standards, including those by the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHREA); to maintain temperatures at the sites within ranges specified by such standards; and to meet all applicable codes. The proposal shall include, at a minimum, the following elements in the scope of work: • Disconnect and remove five (5) York 2 ton roof top units, one (1) York 4 ton roof top and four (4) split systems • Furnish and install five (5) roof top units. Units will include five (5) 2 ton units and one (1) 4 ton cooling unit equivalent to the existing units. • Furnish and install two (2) 80 % efficient gas furnaces with remote air cooled condensing units located on the roof of the police station. • Furnish and install two (2) high efficient gas furnaces with condensing units located on the ground level. • Connect new roof top units to the existing duct system below the ceiling. • Reconnect gas piping • Reconnect refrigerant piping and flue piping for the new furnaces • Certified air balancing • Reconnect low voltage control wiring and furnish new thermostats. Existing zone system for the furnace on the second floor will be reused. • Patch the roof as needed. • Start, check and test all equipment for proper operation.
