This project involves the phased replacement of existing environmental chambers and related systems, which will be performed incrementally over several years. The work includes relocating outdoor condenser units serving the ground and first floors to ground-level locations on the north side of Rudman Hall, as well as replacing refrigerant lines as the work progresses. UNH has engaged Harriman Architects and Engineers to provide design services. Final equipment recommendations will be developed in collaboration with the selected chamber manufacturer. Following the selection of an environmental chamber manufacturer, UNH will contract a construction management firm to coordinate procurement, installation, integration, and associated infrastructure modifications. The selected environmental chamber manufacturer, under the direction of a designated owner design manager will: • Provide new environmental chambers to replace existing units in Rudman Hall. • Supply all ancillary equipment required for chamber functionality and integration. • Collaborate with Harriman Architects and Engineers and UNH stakeholders to finalize equipment specifications and configurations. • Provide technical documentation, installation requirements, and ongoing support during the phased implementation. • Assist, as necessary, with commissioning, testing, and training. Note: Installation activities will be coordinated by a separate construction management firm retained by UNH.
