The project will include site civil design of public and staff parking lots, traffic engineering for both on-site and off-site. Drainage, landscaping, gated security, lighting and other incidentals are also included. The project location is 28 Officer James Roche Drive and 9 Riverside Street. The site is approximately 5 acres of land with multiple structures that are to remain. The project needs included access control vehicular gated security, closed drainage system, granite curb, increased staff parking, landscaping features, and parking lot lighting. All survey, geotechnical, environmental, and site permitting (environmental/building) is to be included in the scope of services (the City will require the project to go through all appropriate permitting). Currently, one entrance/exit exists on Riverside Street and one on Officer James Roche Drive. Traffic engineering will evaluate on-site traffic flow for NPD needs of parking staff vehicles and shift turnover of PD vehicles. Traffic will also evaluate the on-site traffic flow with the off-site access points to determine optimal traffic flow of the facility
