The Dover School District is looking for a platform that meets the needs of the district. DSD does not currently have any software platforms in place to achieve the emergency management goals. Proposals should include the design, implementation, and follow through to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff during emergencies. The district aims to leverage technology to streamline and enhance these processes while ensuring reliability and ease of use. The proposed software musts: ● Reunification Support: Provide tools for tracking student attendance and status during emergencies. ● Emergency Alerts: Enable staff to quickly send emergency notifications to all personnel. ● Staff Communication: Facilitate real-time updates and alerts between staff members. ● Integration with SIS: Seamlessly link with Infinite Campus to access up-to-date student information. ● Integration with existing communication systems. ● Accessibility: Be usable on staff laptops and mobile devices with cell service and accessible by any authorized staff member. ● Ease of Use: Prioritize user-friendly interfaces and straightforward workflows. ● Device Agnosticism: Function effectively across a variety of devices and platforms. The selected vendor will be responsible for the following: ● Supports real-time attendance tracking for all students and staff during reunification. ● Enables staff to send emergency alerts to all personnel, ensuring swift communication during critical situations. ● Provides tools for staff to send and receive instant updates about reunification processes and emergencies. ● Provides access to active attendance and reunification status for authorized staff members. ● Integrates directly and securely with Infinite Campus. ● Operates effectively on mobile devices, independent of specific operating systems or brands. ● Is intuitive and requires minimal training for staff to use efficiently. ● Technical training provided to selected district departments prior to the start of the 2025-26 school year. ● User training sessions to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the new system. ● Ongoing technical support and maintenance services post-implementation.
