The Owner agrees to provide space for a homeless drop-in resource center. Qualified proposers/property owners shall provide a space with the following: • American’s with Disability Act accessible facility • Valid Certificate of Occupancy • Valid Certificate of Insurance in compliance with City requirements • Provisions for trash pick-up • 24-hour emergency contact for the site • To host no more than 80 people at a time • Accessible restroom facilities Qualified proposers will be responsible for the salting, sanding, and shoveling of the exterior entrances and exits as necessary to ensure the safety of individuals. The City of Nashua will be responsible for providing staff to operate the resource center during its operational hours, as well as providing snacks, coffee, and related supplies. The City staff will be responsible for janitorial supplies and cleaning the space during use. No less than two employees of the City or a contracted vendor will be onsite during the hours of operation. The City staff or contracted vendor will monitor and maintain the safety of those present on site. The City staff or contracted vendor will have the authority to ask individuals to leave the location based on the expectations of guests that are not adhering to the following guidelines: 1. No substance use allowed onsite 2. No smoking or vaping allowed inside (please utilize outdoor designated smoking area) 3. No fighting or assaulting guests/staff/volunteers allowed 4. No damaging of property 5. All bags must be checked in with staff prior to entry 6. Only one person allowed in the restroom at a time 7. No washing up or bathing in the bathroom 8. Please respect all others while onsite 9. Please clean up after yourself 10. No sleeping or laying on the floor 11. No loitering outside of the property
