2.1.1. The Vendor must provide a proposed landscape design for the City to review and approve. This design must identify all plantings, mulches, and design elements needed. 2.1.2. The Vendor must install all landscape improvements in accordance with the design as approved by the City. 2.1.3. The Vendor must maintain the installed landscape improvements in accordance with and as approved by the City. Maintenance must be coordinated with and approved by the Laconia Department of Parks and Recreation and may include but is not limited to: • Weeding around bushes, walkways, and other plantings. • Removal of leaves, clippings, branches, underperforming plants, and other debris. • Plantings to replace and enhance shrubs, trees, and flowers will be completed as requested. • Diagnostic services to soils around the base of young trees, shrubs, and flower beds to determine fertilizing needs. • Application of fertilizers. • Pruning of shrubs to maintain size, shape, and structure. • Application of mulch to flower and shrub beds. • Clean up of storm damage and debris.
