• Site Preparation: o Removal and disposal of existing asphalt and base materials in designated areas. o Grading and compaction of subgrade to ensure proper drainage and stability. o Repair or replacement of damaged catch basins, manholes, and drainage pipes as identified during site assessment. o Preparation of all surfaces to receive new asphalt, including cleaning and tack coating. • Paving: o Application of new asphalt pavement to specified thicknesses for parking lots, access roads, and designated pathways. o Use of high-quality asphalt materials meeting NH DOT specifications. o Ensuring proper compaction and smooth transitions between new and existing surfaces. o Installing all necessary asphalt edging, minimum of 18” from asphalt edge. • Striping and Markings: o Application of durable traffic paint for parking space lines, accessible parking symbols, directional arrows, stop bars, and other necessary markings in accordance with current ADA and local regulations. o Clear delineation of fire lanes and no-parking zones. • Drainage Improvements: o Installation or repair of French drains, culverts, or other drainage solutions to mitigate water accumulation. o Ensuring positive drainage away from buildings and high-traffic areas. • Traffic Control: o Development and implementation of a comprehensive traffic control plan to ensure minimal disruption to county operations and public access during construction. o Provision of all necessary signage, cones, and flaggers. • Cleanup: o Thorough cleanup and removal of all construction debris, excess materials, and equipment upon project completion.
