a. Prosecution of all criminal complaints within District Court from arraignment through trial, to include adult arraignments, bail hearings, probable cause hearings, criminal and motor vehicle trials. This may include prosecuting cases within other New Hampshire counties or courts. b. Negotiating plea agreements with defendants and/or defense counsel. c. Maintain appropriate relationship with prosecutorial liaison or designee within the Sheriff’s Department. d. Processing and delivering discovery requests e. Subpoenaing witnesses and victims. f. Juvenile arraignment and adjudicatory hearings. g. Response when called to emergency scenes for deputy assistance when available. h. Availability for advice/officer assistance during business hours. i. After hour availability for emergency questions, emergency search warrants or deputy assistance. j. Annual legal update training for Officers k. Appearance at Administrative License (ALS) hearings (if necessary) l. Maintain professional standards within the Court System.
