NHDOT is searching for a contractor(s) to assist in service and/or repairs of Off-Road equipment as needed, determined by NHDOT Mechanical Services staff. Up to two (2) contracts may be awarded in two categories as outlined below. 1. Construction Equipment 2. Agriculture type equipment REPAIR PROCESS • Upon completion of the required repairs and scheduled maintenance, the Contractor shall ensure all system error codes have been cleared then notify the Bureau of Mechanical Services. • The Contractor shall provide an itemized invoice comprised of all parts / supplies stated in the repair estimate plus actual cost, (cost billed to the state) to complete authorized repairs. There may be times when the ‘actual labor cost is less than the estimated labor cost. • For in-state vendors, in the event the equipment requires transportation to the Contractor’s place of business for repair, NHDOT shall provide Transportation of the unit. NHDOT may elect to have the Contractor transport the equipment if they agree to the transportation price quoted by the Contractor prior to movement of the equipment.
