Demolition and Site Preparation • Remove existing interior walls, flooring, ceiling materials, and fixtures • Protect adjacent office spaces and public areas during demolition activities • Properly dispose of all demolition debris in accordance with local waste management regulations • Install temporary barriers and dust control measures to maintain building operations • Coordinate utility shutoffs and reconnections with City of Laconia facilities management Structural Modifications • Install new load-bearing elements and structural supports as required for wall removal • Modify existing HVAC ductwork and electrical systems to accommodate enlarged space • Reinforce floor and ceiling structures to support new lighting, audio-visual equipment, and furniture loads. • Ensure all structural work complies with current New Hampshire building codes and municipal requirements • Provide structural engineering calculations and certifications as required by the City of Laconia Construction and Finishing Work The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for: 1. Framing and drywall installation with appropriate fire-rated assemblies 2. Flooring installation including carpet, hardwood, or luxury vinyl tile as specified. 3. Ceiling system installation with integrated lighting and HVAC components 4. Interior door installation with appropriate hardware and access control compatibility 5. Paint and finish work throughout the expanded conference room area Electrical and Technology Infrastructure • Install new electrical panels and circuits to support increased lighting and equipment loads • Provide adequate electrical outlets and USB charging stations at table locations • Install dedicated circuits for audio-visual equipment and presentation technology • Implement energy-efficient LED lighting with diming controls and occupancy sensors • Ensure electrical work meets National Electrical Code standards and local inspection requirements • Coordinate with City of Laconia, Police Department for network infrastructure needs
