Specifications include, but are not limited to: The prospective firm will be required to make recommendations to streamline or redesign a process that is easy to understand and user friendly, in an effort to provide efficiency, effectiveness and accountability. The improvement of this process would be a mechanism to foster growth and drive economic development within the County. The development process would include four entities within Chatham County such as the Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC), Building Safety & Regulatory Services, Chatham County Health Department, and the Engineering Department. The County also wants to use this process to look at “Best Practices” around the U.S. This work would be used as a pilot for other potential business process redesign projects within the County.
