The scope of work involves the design and installation of an improved lighting package tailored to enhance the functionality and energy efficiency of the welding shop. This project will include the removal of outdated lighting fixtures, proper disposal, and the installation of high-performance LED fixtures designed to provide optimal illumination levels required for precision welding tasks. The lighting system will incorporate vacancy sensors to ensure that lights are automatically turned off when the space is unoccupied, minimizing energy waste. Additionally, dimming capabilities will be integrated into the system to allow adjustable light levels, providing flexibility for various tasks and contributing to energy conservation. To further enhance the functionality and efficiency of the system, a new controls package will be added. This package will include a centralized control panel for managing lighting zones, scheduling, and real-time adjustments. All materials shall bear the UL label. The project will ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations while prioritizing durability, ease of maintenance, and user-friendly operation. All work will be completed with minimal to no disruption to shop activities, and thorough testing will be conducted to verify system performance.
