Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The work to be accomplished shall include all labor, equipment, cleaning supplies, plastic and paper supplies required to provide complete janitorial services in a professional manner acceptable to the University. Additionally contractor will provide five full-time maintenance employees managed by the University. 2. Choice of janitorial methods, equipment, supplies and employees will normally remain with the contractor; however, the procedures must not incur undue or accelerated wear to the surfaces and must adhere to the manufacturer recommendation and specifications for all materials and surfaces. The state of cleanliness achieved must comply with the "Standards of the Trade" and pass the unannounced inspection of the State of Nevada Health Department and University Officials. 3. The janitorial portion of this contract is comprised of cleaning the residence halls which house students twenty-four hours a day seven days a week during the academic year. Over winter and summer break there is a small number of students residing in the Residence halls. This portion will also include detailed requirements for summer housing and summer conference turnover schedules. The maintenance portion of this contract is comprised of providing five employees to provide services as required by the University. 4. The contractor will be required to furnish and maintain all janitorial equipment to provide complete services to the University. All contractor equipment shall be engraved or otherwise permanently identified so ownership can be readily determined. All electrically operated equipment must possess proper grounding capabilities and must be grounded when in use. 5. All equipment and supplies for the maintenance portion of this contract will be supplied by the University. 6. The contractor will also be required to furnish and supply all necessary cleaning supplies as well as plastic and paper supplies, including, but not limited to, paper towels, toilet tissue, trash can liners, seat protectors, sanitary napkin bags, deodorant bars, washroom soap and translucent, plastic shower curtains. The University is requesting that some extra paper products be allocated to the R.A. in each area for emergency use.
