Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified providers to operate the Women and Families Supportive Community, hereafter referred to as WFSC. There are multiple facilities located on and off of the campus of Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAMHS). WFSC is a benchmark housing program that assists community members in making a successful transition from substance abuse and homelessness to a productive and fulfilling lifestyle.WFSC intends to provide a minimum of 60 tenant beds for an alcohol and drug free supportive community to at-risk populations as determined by the County. Of that population, a percentage of the participants will be residing or reunifying with their children. The successful Proposer shall manage, promote and support housing services and basic needs of WFSC clients. Proposers should be able to demonstrate a community centered approach, sustained positive rapport within the community and the ability to respond and provide respectful, compassionate service to all stakeholders. Individuals who may be served in the program include, but are not limited to, homeless or near homeless individuals who are referred through the courts, the jail, the Community Assistance Center, community referrals and/or clients who are currently being served by WCHSA who have a demonstrable need for supportive community services. Prospective providers understand that WCHSA will determine eligibility and is the only authority that can place individuals into or discharge from the WFSC.
