Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Leadership Coaching Program (“Program”) at UNLV supports the professional development of the University’s current, new and emerging leaders from a strengths-based perspective. The Program provides leaders with opportunities to refine existing skills and acquire new skills that are required to develop and lead a successful, effective organization. UNLV is creating a pool of diverse, certified coaches that can be assigned to program participants for individualized sessions, taking into consideration their specific development needs, as well as learning and work-styles. Once identified as the preferred coach, the proposed scope of work includes: Assess the client’s needs and goals based on individual meetings with the client and joint meetings with the client and the sponsor. In conjunction with the client, define and determine actions to meet the goals. Determine with the client what success would look like for him or her. Provide clear written guidance/next steps to the coaching client. Document progress towards achieving the coaching client’s goals. Establish schedule for periodic reports to the sponsor on the progress of each coaching client. Schedule routine coaching sessions in a timeframe and structure that respects the regular workload of the client and allows appropriate time for taking action towards goals.
