Work includes replacing the existing irrigation system at Wilbur Square with a new, fully automated system to serve the park’s turfgrass areas. This work shall also include but is not limited to construction of a new point-of-connection to the existing raw water distribution mainline, installation of mainline and lateral piping, booster pumping equipment, pedestal-mounted irrigation controller, rain sensor, flow valve assemblies, gate valves, valve boxes, quick coupling valves, etc. The system will utilize a conventional low-voltage wire setup with supplementary two-wire cable for future conversion. Contractor shall verify existing site conditions and provide all required fittings and connections as shown in the contract documents. The work also includes all turf repair needed due to the work.
