SOURCES SOUGHT - Trash Removal Services Yuma Area Office.
This is a Sources Sought announcement for acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation for this requirement exists at this time. All businesses, regardless of size; capable of providing these services are invited to respond to this announcement and submit a capability statement for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine a firm's previous experience performing similar work. The capability statements will be reviewed and used to determine an appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside is warranted or an alternate procurement strategy. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for information solicited.
Proposed Project:
Reclamation is seeking a contractor capable of providing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and facilities to provide trash and refuse removal services at the designated locations of Reclamation in the Yuma Area Office.
Trash Removal Services for the Yuma Area Office (YAO), The YAO facilities are located at 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, AZ; Laguna Field Office, located on Route 1 2400 Imperial Road, Winterhaven, California.
TRASH BIN LOCATION AND SIZE
Three (3) 3-cubic yard dumpsters; located at the following areas: YAO Warehouse, YAO west end of Equipment Shop, and YAO east end of Equipment Shop.
Five (5) 5-cubic yard dumpsters; located at the following areas: YAO Warehouse, YAO west side of Administration Building, YAO Sludge Building, YAO Operation & Maintenance Contractor Maintenance Shop, YAO Dry Chemical building.
One (1) 6-cubic yard bin; located at the YAO Warehouse.
One (1) 8-cubic yard recycling dumpster. Location: YAO west side of Administration Building. Contractor must provide a report of tons recycled per month, submitted with the monthly invoice.
One (1) 5-cubic yard bin, equipped with a locking hasp. Location: YAO Equipment Shop for disposal of hazardous waste containers only.
One (1) 40 foot Roll Off; located behind the YAO Operation & Maintenance Shop.
One (1) 20 foot Roll Off, low sider; located at Laguna Yard.
DISPOSAL SCHEDULE
Contractor shall perform biweekly removal and disposal for dumpsters (3a. - 3c.) - Tuesday and Thursdays between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm except as noted below.
Pick up and disposal of the eight (8) yard recycling dumpster (3d.) must be done twice per week, between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.
Pick up and disposal of hazmat dumpster (3e.) shall be on an "as needed/on call" basis, which is estimated to be eight (8) times a year, between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm
Pick up and disposal of the 40 foot roll off (3f.) located at the YAO Operation & Maintenance Shop, shall be on an "as needed/on call" basis, which is estimated to be 12 times a year per roll off, between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.
Pick up and disposal of the 20 foot roll off (3g.) located at the Laguna Field Office shall be on an "as needed/on call" basis, which is estimated to be eight (8) times a year, between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 562111, Solid Waste removal with a corresponding small business size standard of $47M.

A brief summary of capabilities to include demonstration of the firm's previous experience as a prime or subcontractor performing this type of service. Previous procurements performed of similar size and complexity to include references with point of contact information. Firm shall provide the project title, location, and detailed description of the efforts and how it was similar, the project dollar value, contract award number, completion date, and the customer's name, phone number and email address.
