-Deliver the appropriate level of transportation needs for the residents of the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home that range from routine to complex transportation needs. The frequency predicted by the SNSVH could be 1-3 trips per week, 4-12 occurrences per month; -develop and implement policies & procedures for authorizing, scheduling, managing, and issuing payment for a range of non-emergency medical transportation services; -provide standardized and consistent billing practice(s), so that the SNSVH can accurately predict & project costs for these services; -Achieve and maintain on-time performance for the initiating and return trips; -effectively address the needs of the residents of the SNSVH, staff of the SNSVH and healthcare providers; -ensure reliability, responsiveness, and accountability; -solicit, track, and report on resident experience while being transported; -implement solutions, if needed, to address the needs of the residents and staff of the SNSVH; -identify and address service gaps, unavailability, and other scenarios as necessary; -continuously track and analyze data to improve services; -deliver timely, person-centered, and high quality transportation services through reliable, flexible, and innovative NEMT services; -ability to cost effectively bill residents insurance source; to include private insurance, Medicare and/or Medicaid or any other payer source available; -provide NEMT services to residents that exceed 350 lbs., provide wheelchair, gurney, and stretcher type transportation, as well as providing these services before, during & after standard business hours; -provide NEMT services to & from Boulder City covering all geographic locations in the Las Vegas Valley. This includes Henderson, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Boulder City & any other locations in said area; -ability of the transporter to stay on site at the location of the appointment, time allowance & fees to be discussed during contract negotiations; -ability to schedule and provide transport services with little to no advanced notice due to staff shortage at SNSVH and/or sudden medically necessary need; -working with SNSVH Business Office, Transportation, and Residential Unit staff for all scheduling and billing needs/purposes; -ability for the transporter to provide CPR and other life saving measure if needed.
