It is the intent for the District to hard bid the abatement and demolition of the existing building before the new school construction begins and therefore this work will not be part of the CMAR scope. The new school will be constructed on the same site and will consist of a two (2) story building, approximately 103,000-112,000 S.F. that will include but, is not limited to, approximately thirty-two (32) new classrooms, media center, activity room, multipurpose room, kitchen, stage, STEAM lab, student hubs, administration suite, playground equipment, shade structures, soccer field, parking lots, lighting, landscaping, all major utilities, and with potential offsite improvements as required by the City of Reno.
