Daily cleaning of interior offices and lobby shall include the following: a) Empty wastebaskets, recycle bins and trash receptacles, unless otherwise directed. Line with new plastic bags each time they are emptied. Waste baskets are to be cleaned, as needed. b) Clean ashtrays. c) Dust and clean fingerprints from all exposed furniture tops, including desks, chairs, tables, lamps, phones, filing cabinets, shelves, benches, sills and ledges from a height of six feet or below. This task should be accomplished in a manner that does not disturb any of the objects that are on the surface. A complete cleaning and polishing of the surface shall be done any time the surface is clear of all objects. d) Clean, polish and sanitize drinking fountains with disinfectant. e) Vacuum and spot clean all carpeted traffic areas including corridors, pathways within office areas, and lobbies. f) Dust mop and damp mop all resilient tile floor areas. g) Vacuum all rubber/carpeted mats, removing stains/spots when necessary h) Perform spot cleaning of all interior glass and glass doors. i) Secure doors and turn off unnecessary lights after completion of work, in the immediate area, unless otherwise instructed. j) Remove trash from all outside facilities, including parking areas and landscaped areas. k) Remove chewing gum from all carpeted areas, outside common areas, sidewalks, and walls. l) Clean and maintain all furniture in offices, lobbies, conference areas, and libraries. Daily cleaning of restrooms shall include the following: a) Restrooms shall be checked, cleaned, and restocked daily. Appropriate caution/safety signs shall be used to close off areas and ensure public safety. b) Refill hand soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, paper towels, seat covers, and sanitary napkin dispensers to full capacity
