Scope of Work: Phased construction of a new two (2)-story elementary school on the existing Echo Loder Elementary School site approximately 100,000 Square Feet. The new Echo Loder Elementary School will be a Type II-B construction and the Scope of Work includes but is not limited to: grading, paving, landscaping and irrigation, underground utilities, masonry, structural steel, plumbing, HVAC and electrical, membrane roofing, architectural metal stud walls, insulation, aluminum framed windows, doors, frames and door hardware, casework, insulation, painting and flooring as drawn and specified. The existing school shall be demolished after the new school is constructed. The construction of a new playground shall be completed after the old school is demolished. The Awarded Contractor shall provide infrastructure and space allocation only for future photovoltaic system including, but not limited to, provisions for system interconnection in the main service entrance, conduit from the main electrical room B124M to the second-floor electrical room B203M, and conduits from the electrical room B203M to the roof array locations. The Awarded Contractor shall design the Emergency Responder Radio Communication System (ERRCS) as described in the bid documents, which includes testing of the radio signal strength inside the building after the shell is completed (including roof, walls, doors and windows) to determine if the system is required per code.
