Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Nevada Purchasing Division on behalf of the Department of Agriculture is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a full-service cold storage facility in Las Vegas, Nevada to store United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) commodities for multiple USDA programs. 2.1 STORAGE REQUIREMENTS: 2.1.1 Vendor must have the ability to store frozen items such as meats and processed foods. 2.1.2 Vendor must have the ability to store refrigerated items such as fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, raisins and nut mixtures. 2.2 SQUARE FOOTAGE REQUIREMENTS: 2.2.1 The minimum space required is: • Freezer: 1500 sq. ft.-approximately; • Refrigerated: 750 sq. ft.-approximately. 2.3 PICKUP INVENTORY: 2.3.1 Vendors shall have the ability to perform the services listed below: • Shrink wrap product being picked up; • Stage product in advance for pickup; • Load product into truck; and • Quick availability to dock doors. 2.3.2 Vendors shall have high loading for Semi’s for delivery.
