The State of Nevada, Department of Business and Industry, Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for legal courier services in the Reno/Carson City/Gardnerville/Minden area. It is this Agency’s intent to enter into contracts with a courier server, acting as independent contractors, who have experience in meeting the various needs of agencies. These needs will vary but include, at a minimum: twice daily pick-up and delivery at our Carson City office (one pick-up no later than 12:00 Noon and one pick-up between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.). The later afternoon pick-up will include drop-off of all NAIW’s outgoing mail to State Mail Services in Carson City, as well as any courier documents to be delivered the next day; any court filings (District, Supreme and Federal); services of process; delivery, pick-up and special urgent deliveries. These contracts will be administered by the Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers and are anticipated to commence upon Board of Examiner’s approval for an initial two (2) year period.
