Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Clean all restrooms, including the 2 restrooms located in the garage area, thoroughly: (1) Wet mops floors with disinfectant. (2) Clean mirrors and bight metal. (3) Thoroughly clean toilets, urinals, and lavatories with a solution containing disinfectant; wash toilet partitions in all restrooms with disinfectant. (4) Refill soap, towel and tissue dispensers. (5) Remove completely all graffiti. (6) Showers must be thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant. b. Empty and clean all wastebaskets, garbage containers, and pencil sharpeners as well as disposing of packing materials. Overflow trash will be placed in boxes beside wastepaper baskets and will clearly be labeled as trash by City staff to avoid confusion over what is to be discarded. Refuse shall be bagged and removed to a designated area on the premises. Bags shall be heavy-duty minimum of 1.5 mil thick and 2 ply strong. Bags are to be securely tied at the top to prevent spillage. Trashcan liners and wastepaper basket liners (supplied by Contractor) are to be replaced when soiled. c. Clean drinking fountains. d. Wet or dry mop (depending on weather and floor materials) all entry vestibules. e. Vacuum: Carpet in all areas throughout the building including public areas, workrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, study rooms, lounges, offices, etc. f. Mop: All tiled floor areas including quarry tile and brick shall be swept clean and damp mopped. Special attention should be paid to corners. Scuffs and black marks are to be removed.
