Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1Requested services are for both preventative and reactive response to protecting employee work spacesand public sitesin critical facilities to protect against the exposure of SARS-COV-2 virusand other infectious diseases.5.1.1Facilities may include essential utility service facilities such as water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities; law enforcement facilities; fire and rescue facilities; Health Department,County Jail, or other facilities deemed criticalfor occupation by personnel during SARS-COV-2 activities or following SARS-COV-2 case where an employee was present in the facilities.5.1.2Work requested may be preventative and routine, or requested on the basis of a suspected or confirmed SARS-COV-2 case inthese facilities.5.1.3Disinfection services may be performed in various buildings, spaces, and vehicles occupied by personnel. 5.2Methods and materials used in disinfection services shall be approved for use by EPA and the CDC for disinfection of SARS-COV-2.5.2.1These services are primarily for disinfection of facilities for prevention of SARS-COV-2 exposure control and do not include general janitorial services except in the event that precleaning, vacuum cleaning, waste removal, etc. is necessary for proper disinfection. 5.3Locationsfor servicesare generally located in Lancaster County and the City of Lincoln with the exception of the City’s Water Treatment facilities located in Ashland, NE.5.4Buildings and spaces are generally described as office spaces with hard floor, wall, and door surfaces, carpeted floor surfaces, counter spaces, desktops, chairs, typical computer equipment, video equipment, television screens, appliances, etc. Kitchens, restrooms, lobbies, and breakrooms are included. 5.5Buildings and spaces may contain specialized work areas such as garages; pipe galleries; maintenance facilities with hard-surface apparatus control panels, and machinery; control rooms with computer, video, and phone workstations.
